By downloading or using Celly you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app. If you are using Celly on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for them.
Celly is a wellness and informational application. It offers skin analysis from a photo you take, scanning of foods and products, a diary, personalised suggestions, multi-day regeneration cycles and environmental context such as local weather.
Celly does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing it shows you is a medical opinion.
Skin scores, scan results, compatibility ratings and suggestions are estimates produced by software from the information available to it. They can be wrong. Do not use Celly to decide whether to seek, delay or stop medical care. If you are worried about your skin, or about a food or ingredient, speak to a doctor, dermatologist or other qualified professional. If you have a known allergy or intolerance, always check the product's own packaging: Celly is not a safety tool.
Celly's suggestions are shaped by what you tell it — your skin type, concerns, reactions and dietary requirements. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. Inaccurate or incomplete answers will produce results that do not fit you.
Celly may create an anonymous account for you automatically so your data has an owner. You may optionally link a permanent identity by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that Apple or Google account secure, and for activity that takes place through your Celly account. Do not share it, and do not attempt to access anyone else's.
An anonymous account is tied to the app installation on your device. If you have not linked an Apple or Google account and you delete the app or lose the device, it may not be possible to recover the data saved to that anonymous account. Linking an account protects against this.
Celly draws on external sources, including the Open Food Facts product database and weather data from MET Norway (the Norwegian Meteorological Institute). These are maintained by third parties. Their data may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and we do not control it and cannot guarantee it. Product information in particular can lag behind what is printed on the packaging in your hand — the packaging wins.
General descriptions of scanned products are generated with the help of an artificial-intelligence service (OpenAI) from the product's published details. Automatically generated descriptions can contain mistakes, and they are estimates like everything else Celly shows you.
Deleting your Celly account removes your account and the Celly data held against it. It does not cancel your subscription, because Apple or Google — not Eftel Studio — bills you. If you want the billing to stop, cancel the subscription with the store before or after deleting your account. If you do not, the store will continue to charge you.
Purchases made through the App Store are refunded by Apple under Apple's policies, and purchases made through Google Play are refunded under Google Play's policies; requests should be made to the store you bought from. This does not affect any statutory right of withdrawal or remedy you have as a consumer under Italian or EU law, which remains available to you.
Do not:
Celly, its name, its design, its content and its software belong to Eftel Studio or its licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Nothing here transfers ownership. Content you create — your diary entries, your answers, your photographs — remains yours.
Celly relies on Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google (including Google Play and ML Kit), OpenAI, Open Food Facts, MET Norway and Shorebird. Their own terms and privacy policies govern what they do. We are not responsible for their services, and interruptions in them may affect Celly.
We aim to keep Celly working, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and may update the app. Where a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, we will tell you and you may cancel through the store.
We may update these terms. The current version is always published at this address with its date. Continuing to use Celly after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Celly is provided for general wellness and information. To the extent permitted by law, Eftel Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for decisions you take on the basis of an estimate the app produced, or for the accuracy of third-party data.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes anything that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and the mandatory rights you have as a consumer under Italian and EU law — including the statutory guarantee of conformity. If any part of this section conflicts with those rights, those rights prevail.
How Celly handles your information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us.
You can stop using Celly at any time, and you can delete your account from Profile → Delete account in the app. Remember to cancel any Apple or Google Play subscription separately. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
Questions about these terms, or about Celly generally: cellyskinfood@gmail.com. You can also reach us from inside the app, under Profile → Report a problem.
These terms are also available in Italian. Both versions have the same content.
